あだち充 Adachi Mitsuru H2 manga review: the first kiss
The story of Adachi’s H2 is one of the most dramatic and interesting among his other works.
Koga Haruka, a high school girl with great passion in baseball, is the manager of Senkawa high school baseball team. Their ace pitcher, Kunimi Hiro, had thrown a spectacular game of ‘no-hitter’ that day.

After the game, the two were at the back corridor of the stadium.
Haruka suddenly asked: “Can I kiss you?”
Hiro: “ ... Huh?”
”can I give you a kiss... on your cheek?”. “to celebrate the “no hit - no run”, is that okay?”
Hiro, pauses “....“it’s not that it isn”t okay, but I guess I am so smelly and sweaty right now....”
Haruka “is THAT sweat that brings the victory!”.
at that moment Hiro saw his best ‘friend’ Hikari coming...
Hiro (to Haruka) ” hey... wait... “ when he turned his head to Haruka, lips touched!
Hikari saw this in a distant, giving Hiro a smile and a V sign then she walked away.
I found it interesting that the next scenes are a full page of scenery then pan towards Meiwa ichi high school with Hideo. A page with a break, without immediately telling us what happened next after the kiss! Adachi keeps us guessing. then, a few panels showing the transition of time: a afternoon, the sun set, the moonlight. The scene changed gradually from the Meiwaichi high school to towards Hiro’s house. Now, the story begin to unfold, it starts describing what had happened after the kiss. Begins with the describing Hiro’s reaction when his father jokes about wanting to kiss him on the cheek, “GO AWAY!” Hiro yelled at his father. But his father just wanting (actually kidding) to give him a kiss to celebrate the no-hitter. Now I know Hiro is actually annoyed by the fact that the kissing on the cheek incident in the afternoon was witnessed by Hikari, his first love.
The episode closed by a conversation between Hikari and Hiro, Hiro admitted the first time his true feeling bout his crush, his first love since junior high school: Hikari his best ‘friend’ since childhood. But now she is his best friend’s girlfriend.

Actually Hikari wasnt in good mood either...
Hiro told Hikari his true feeling, on this day where he had his ‘first kiss’ with Haruka.
On the next day, Hikari was thinking about something. I think she was thinking about Hiro. And started to think, ‘are we possible?.... at all?’

切ないなH2の12卷でした。
自分の感想ですが H2の感情描寫を一つずつ記錄したいんですが 読者の感想も聞きたいです。日本語が上手じゃないので 失礼します。私の間違いを訂正してください。
